Make your first video

1. Step 1

   Open Projects and choose New. Give the project a recognizable name. On a computer, double-click an existing project to reopen it; on a touchscreen, tap once. Keyboard users can focus a project and press Enter.

2. Step 2

   Choose Media & tools on smaller screens, then Media and Import. Select a short video from your device. Add video clips to the main timeline in the order you want them to play.

3. Step 3

   Select the aspect ratio for the intended output. Use 16:9 for a landscape video or 9:16 for a vertical video. Select a clip and open Transform to adjust its scale and position.

4. Step 4

   Press play to inspect the result. Open Export video, choose MP4 and your quality setting, then Export. Keep the tab open while rendering and save the finished file.
